Marble Automation's alarm & monitoring system is characterized by its simplicity. It is easy to use this system, because its set-up is clear and instinctive. The MS-2180 alarm system is designed for sea-going vessels. The system can be placed on ships that have either manned or unmanned engine rooms. I/O modules
Professional I/O-modules collect the desired information from the entire ship. By using several I/O-modules, a decentralized system can be build. This reduces cabling costs, because each I/O-module is placed in the direct vicinity of the machine. The input modules are available in many different types, such as:
Digital input (NO/NC) Fast counter input (digital) Analogue input 4-20mA Analogue input 0-10Vdc Analogue input Thermocople Analogue input PT-100 Interface modules (Modbus / Ethernet / Profibus / ASibus / LON / etc.)
TouchscreensAll parameters are adjustable by means of the connected touchscreens. The pages where adjustments can be made are secured with a password. This prevents unwanted changes of settings. The MS-2180 alarm system is always equipped with an engine room touchscreen. Several other touchscreens can be connected to the system. This creates the possibility to completely read all channels in all desired rooms. You can also choose for a more simple report to the engineer's cabin, by using a MS-2002 alarm extension or a MS-10b group alarm unit. Touchscreens are available in many sizes. Starting with an 5,7 inch display, the standard range ends with a 15 inch touchscreen. Using a marine workstation computer, the display size is unlimited. Extra modulesExtension of the MS-2180 alarm system is made possible by connecting extra software modules to the system. Amongst many other possibilities, these contain: Measurement of tank content/level Guarding of exhaust gas temperatures Guarding of bearing temperatures UMS deadmans clock Engineers call system
